  • 2006      Construction finished on  two player boxes located on Lance yorke oval.

  

 construction of the frames was completed by Ron Gibbs a long standing member of our club ith the kind donation of steel by ComSteel, Colourbond was errected and provided by Lake Macquarie Fencing another member of the club and providor of great fences David has also assisted the public school of Garden Suburb, a truly community minded company and owner.


  • 2006      Score board moved  to between  player boxes for ease of viewing by the croud.

          Many years ago the score board was locatwed in this position with a raised gantry to walk up onto to change the scores. nothing beats turning up to a game to  see the score and hopefully see suburbs in the lead.


  • 2007    With the help of sponsors and our generous major sponsor Cardiff RSL we purchased new jerseys for our junior teams from Under 6 to Under 16 thanks to our good friends at Waratah sports in gosford for a great deal and onya Visuals for our logos and sponsors prints.

           Go the mighty white and blue.............................


  •   2007  -   Placement of some additional seating  on the eastern side of lance York oval and some new seating neart our junior fields, we also added some bench seats for junior games.

        More seating will be  made in the future to ensure everyone can get a seat to view our games.


  • 2007   Concrete slab placed next to clubhouse to commence the start of our new awning to be built in early 2008.

   Many thanks goes out to the Jackaman family who all came down to supervise and assist in every aspect of laying this concrete slab without them it would have taken us twice as long and we would not have got such a professional job. Pauls young ones played in our junior ranks. thanks also to all the guys who came to help from all age to over 35 and parents of junior players thank you.

 


  • 2007  Purchase of  some fantastic box nets from Kingsgrove sports, these nets give the field that professional look and replace the  ageing  standard nets we had. these nets are the hexagonal world cup style.

  • Building of awning  with the fundraiser money from last year - assistance by Patioworld.
  • Player boxes for rooball field no.2 Garden Suburb - assistance Ron Gibbs.
  • Ball wall for  Junior Field. for training purposes.
  • additional seating - Lance Yorke and Junior Fields
  • Lighting Upgrade for lance Yorke.
  • trainng goals to  rest playing goal mouths during season
  • cafe style tables and more chairs for  canteen area and undercover awning area.
  • possible shade sails for additional shade and sun protection.
  • additional protection to club house from vandals and graffiti.
  • general improvement of ground surfaces
  • water management system and drainage for fields.
  • new goal posts Lance Yorke Oval

People are reminded that the above is only possible with the support of members and a little bit of your time to help goes a long way. we are a community based club and the commitee members cannot do everything. please help or offer help when you can. Please dont wait to be asked as the committee has a lot on its plate.
